Here, you belong.
Welcome to a place that
grows with you.
We treat people like family—because your whole life matters. Your health, your finances, your growth, and more. We’re here for all of it. Since you are new to Rich’s, you may be eligible for benefits in both 2025 and during Open Enrollment for 2026 benefits. This means, you’ll need to enroll twice—once for each plan year. Please go to Alight for complete details and enrollment options.

paycheck
Weigh your options based on your expected needs. You can pay more each paycheck to spend less when you get care or pay less each paycheck and more at the time of treatment.
expenses
Utilize available options to help with out-of-pocket costs you may not have planned for, including voluntary benefits like Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and pre-tax savings accounts (HSA/FSA).
Collective Health will be available 24/7 to help you find providers, check coverage, and understand your prescription costs.

In addition, supplemental health benefits, like hospital indemnity coverage, offer extra financial protection by paying a lump sum hospitalization stays.
If you’re adding a new baby to your benefits, should you consider setting aside money in a Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) to help cover daycare or other childcare expenses with pre-tax dollars?
Here are a few advantages to using an FSA:
- Tax savings – The money you put in is pre-tax, so it lowers your taxable income.
- Covers child & adult care – You can use it for daycare, preschool, after-school programs, summer day camps, or care for elderly or disabled dependents.
- Helps offset big monthly costs – Since childcare and dependent care can be expensive, this account helps reduce the financial burden.

Understand your eligibility.
Benefits vary—here’s why.
Because Rich’s has locations across the country, benefits can vary depending on a few things. What you’re eligible for depends on whether you’re a Core or Custom associate, where you work, how many hours you work, and if you're part of a collective bargaining agreement. If you're a temporary or seasonal associate, you may not be eligible—unless the law says otherwise.
Core Associates are eligible for benefits if regularly scheduled to work at least 16 hours per week.
Custom Associates are either covered by a collective bargaining agreement or not otherwise classified as Core Associates. In most cases, if you’re regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, you’re eligible for benefits—though this can vary by location. Custom Associates should check their collective bargaining agreement for details about benefits and eligibility.

Yes.
If you’re a Core Associate, your benefits kick in on the first of the month after your hire date. So, whether you start January 3 or January 30, your coverage begins February 1.
Custom Associates are eligible on the first of the month after 60 days. For example, if you’re hired on January 3, your benefits start April 1.
Note: Upon your hire date, you have 30 days to enroll in Rich’s benefits regardless of your waiting period.

It's your responsibility to know who you're allowed to cover under your medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. You can enroll dependents who meet the following criteria:
- Your spouse (unless you’re legally separated)
- Your domestic partner who lives with you and shares a committed household, even if you're not legally married*
- Your children under age 26, regardless of their student, marital, or employment status
- Your domestic partner’s children
- Your unmarried children age 26 or older who are unable to support themselves due to a physical or mental disability
*Note: The IRS considers health coverage (medical, dental, or vision) for the domestic partnership a taxable fringe benefit that must be included in the associate’s gross income. Please contact 1-800-445-2587, option #1, for more information.
